Great Balls of Fire: Vehicle Arson Investigations

Vehicles are a common target for arson, often in connection with other criminal acts such as insurance fraud. In larger agencies, traditional “auto theft units” typically do not investigate vehicle arsons; however, establishing a rapport with the arson investigations team offers the greatest potential for success. We will discuss the complexities of multiple investigative specialties and provide a comprehensive approach to ensure integration of all investigators. This course can be customized to include the general assignment investigator, vehicle theft investigator, and arson investigator either together or individually.
